The Wood Loft has Amish custom crafted gun cabinets in all shapes and sizes from complete gun vault rooms to small closet long gun stands. We realize that sometimes space is at a premium but clients would still like to have a gorgeous custom gun cabinet that not only displays their guns beautifully but also provides some security. That is how our low profile gun cabinet came to be designed.
We were contacted by a customer that had plenty of wall width in the room he wanted his gun display but the problem he had was a sloped ceiling that prevented him from getting a full height gun cabinet. We discussed standard solid wood gun cabinet stands that could be placed along the wall but that did not provide the looks and overall security that would make the gun cabinet a perfect fit. After some research and ideas collusion we came up with the low profile gun cabinet design which met all of his requirements and produced a beautiful gun cabinet that is sure to last a lifetime and be passed down to future generations. As an added bonus, with his shorter long gun being displayed in then center it gave us just enough room to throw in a wall mounted pistol display with keyed trigger locks.
The side view of this solid cherry custom gun cabinet showcases the full length tempered glass side window to not only provide a full view of the long guns but also allow more accent lighting out into the room.
For added long gun protection both the gun barrel rests as well as the gun butt rests were lined with 100% genuine premium leather. The back was solid wood shiplapped back.
The leather along the gun barrel rest in this gun cabinet was outfitted with double stitched premium leather padding for enhanced protection and durability. Our premium leather comes in a large assortment of colors to choose from. Your long gun barrel rests and stock rests can be colored to blend with your custom gun cabinet or can be used to add a splash of color and contrast your Amish custom crafted gun cabinet.
Both of the custom gun cabinets lower base drawers are crafted with raised fronts and are key locked for extra protection for anything that is stored.

The gun cabinet was also Amish custom made with fluted column side rail accents and dentil molding accents along the whole width of the gun cabinet.
Rope molding was placed onto the top molding along the width and depth of the cabinet to provide extra emphasis on the beautiful detailing.
Each of the pistols on the hanging pistol display are mounted using a keyed trigger lock providing enhanced security from little hands as well as would be thieves. You can choose from keyed or combo wall mounted trigger locks. If you have long barreled gun your pistol display can be custom fitted with steel and magnetic barrel rests.
In order to prevent the base of the gun cabinet from resting on the floor but not increasing the overall height we custom crafted low profile bun feet which not only use space efficiently but look beautiful.
The wood framed tempered glass bypass sliding doors on this custom gun cabinet come equipped with a push button cylinder lock for extra security.
The leather lined center barrel rest and butt rests were cut with a straight forward appearance to display the gun straight on from the front. Since the barrel rests were placed lower for smaller long gun you can see the placement of the leather lined pistol display.
The barrel rests and gun butt rests in the gun cabinet to the left and right of the center rest were placed at a higher level and at an angle for longer guns and to display more of a long gun profile from the front.
Each of the gun butt rests is lined with hand stitched premium leather for gun butt protection during installation and removal of the customers gun collection.
The angled leather lined butt rests were cut in larger dimensions in order to accommodate larger gun butts. The center butt rests were crafted smaller for his smaller long gun collection.
The back of the entire custom gun cabinet was crafted with ship lap solid cherry hardwood. This photo also shows the lower barrel rest lined with premium leather. Since it was installed at a lower height it allowed the display of shorter barreled gun such AR-15’s and AK length guns. All of our gun cabinets can be Amish custom crafted to display different length long guns.
When this Amish custom gun cabinet was completed and all LED touch lighting was installed we ended up with the beautiful gun cabinet for smaller spaces.
